INSIDE THE CAVE WINERY – KOSTANTAKIS WINERY
We stayed on this gorgeous volcanic island for an entire week & the geological beauty that it possesses is completely mind blowing! It’s rich with dramatic coastal landscapes (perfect for campaigns!) and incredible rock formations. I always say how the most beautiful colour palettes are found in nature. We rented a little Smart car, which was soo much fun to drive, and explored every inch of this amazing island. We stayed on a beautiful winery, dipped in the most beautiful beaches in the Cyclades and enjoyed the delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I could never get enough of having fresh fish seaside under the warm sun! It’s impressive to know that Milos has 77 beaches – while we didn’t get to visit them all, we were blown away by the one’s that we did visit! It was tough to chose but Sarakiniko was our favourite of all – with it’s unusual stark white moon landscape, warm blue waters & dramatic caves. Paliochori was mesmerizing with it’s fantasy colours and 50’s music playing on the beach. Getting to Tsigrado was a riot because we had to climb down two steep ladders and rope in a very narrow space between two giant rocks – but the waters on that beach make the adventure all worthwhile. The picturesque fishing village of Klima is a must-see with all the colourful little fishing houses lined up – how cute right?! I can’t wait to go back to Milos again, but in the meantime, time to get back to work!
