Walking through the doors of the cozy Tommy Cafe in the Old Port of Montreal buzzing with creatives and professionals – I’m flooded with these feelings of nostalgia. Every time I would pass by, I couldn’t wait to go into this place. It’s crazy to think that 10 years ago, I used to work in this exact space for a local Montreal designer while I was studying fashion design. It used to be the collection on the main level & an atelier on the mezzanine where everything was made. It was during this period of my life that I fell in love with fashion! I have spent countless hours within those walls and to be in it as a completely other concept is crazy! Has this happened to anyone else?! Would love to hear about it in the comments!

Vests are tricky – but the right vest can go a long way. Ultimately, I created this vest as an extension for a leather moto. It’s meant for those days when it’s just a bit too chilly to go out only in your leather – throw this on and suddenly you have this gorgeous extra shield of warmth. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not only for the colder days. It can also just be worn over a fine knit and the elegance of it won’t be compromised. It truly is that perfect transitional piece.

A silhouette that will be my eternal fave is the oversized boyfriend fit. It has this effortless yet chic look and most definitely that Parisian cool girl flair that every fashionista has on their mental mood board. A quintessential piece in any fashion girl’s wardrobe. Give it to me in leather, wool, denim – I’ll take it all. Oh and while I’m at it, why not do a total look in leather? I styled this oversized bad boy with a white silk button down, a lace bra, essential leather leggings, the most perfect sock boot and a pair of obnoxious shades.

I am loving the look of these extra long sleeves this season. This sweater has been in heavy rotation lately – the knit itself is so comfortable and the oversized look was exactly what I was looking for. Pairs perfectly with a good pair of skinny denims!

Sunday morning was spent exploring the Upper East Side in NYC. This oversize sweater dress and legging combo was perfect for the crisp weather. I’m totally obsessed with this chunky knit – definitely will be in heavy rotation this winter!

This is one of my all time favorite LAMARQUE jackets – it works so well for those casual days of just jeans and a tee. It’s a vegetable tanned leather and heavily washed which gives it that worn in look. The beauty about it is that I’ve worn it so much that the leather has literally molded to my body. I’m also really loving a lacey bra underneath a tee with a low neckline. And these jeans are my absolute fave – trust me, I have gone through so many black jeans and these are the #1. I’ve literally bought them 3 times. They make you feel so slim – go, give them a try and see the magic!

This LAMARQUE oversize grey duster was the perfect coat to wear during my recent trip to Paris and, to be honest, I have literally been living in it ever since. It gives me such a boost of confidence as I walk – not only is the length totally dramatic but it has these high side slits that makes the fabric whip around as I walk and that feeling is everything. It’s made out of a wool blend double face fabric which makes the coat very light but still keeps the element of warmth. The beauty of double face wool is that the entire coat is finished by hand. The actual fabric is 2 pieces of wool held interlaces together and the garment pieces are all assembled by hand creating a totally luxurious item.
I styled the LAMARQUE Cordelia coat (shop here) with a LAMARQUE Haze silver leather skirt (available next month), a t-shirt I picked up from ultimate parisian boutique Colette (which I am so sad is closing 😦 ), Adidas Stan Smiths (shop here) and a LAMARQUE leather clutch (available soon).
