August is always such a busy time of year as we prepare all the collections to send to our sales team. It’s also so exciting because you get to see everything come together. Can’t wait to show all of you a sneak peak. <3
Hi Everyone! Back from a brief fashion hiatus – it’s been a whirlwind over here at LAMARQUE over the past few weeks as we prep our SS19 collections! I had also gone away for a wedding in Mexico, showed all of you all that on my Insta and I’ll be posting about that very soon too!
As for our news over here at the HQ, as you know, we have another line of Vegan leather so we’ve all been doubled up with prepping both collections for SS19! SO much to do and so exciting – they are both looking so good! Can’t wait to share with you guys what we’re up to over the next few weeks!
Back in the office and tackling the last bits of our FW 1819 production and also moving along our SS19 sampling. Already end of June, time is passing way too fast! Wearing the LAMARQUE Reiko Button Down Blouse and our signature Kelly Stretch Leather Leggings. I’m loving the twist on the classic white button down – the asymmetric closure, longer length and exaggerated sleeves are everything! Pair it with a slim fit bottom to make sure that you look long and lean. The elongated length hits just below the bum which makes it all that more easy to wear. What I love the most is that immediate sharp feeling you have when you put this blouse on <3
We just wrapped up our upcoming Resort collection and now we’re pushing through the final stages of SS19! So much to do, so little time! I’m off to India and China this Saturday to check out our production for FW1819 – can’t wait to share pictures with you from there! Wearing the LAMARQUE Piper Studs in Black and our Cecilia Deep V (dropping in July).
I’m very hands on in everything I do at LAMARQUE. I love following every single style we make from beginning to the very end! Here I am sketching out ideas for the upcoming season. I sketch by hand and also on computer – I love doing both. I switch between the two throughout the design process. Usually, I prefer to draw out concepts by hand sketch and I’ll use the Adobe program called Illustrator to draw when I need to get very technical and specific!
Here is the mock up of our very first ad in the September issue of Dress To Kill. I’m so excited – I can’t wait to have the magazine between my hands!
