I am loving the look of these extra long sleeves this season. This sweater has been in heavy rotation lately – the knit itself is so comfortable and the oversized look was exactly what I was looking for. Pairs perfectly with a good pair of skinny denims!

James and I love Grumpy Cafe in NYC – it’s our fave! I was always having the Mocha coffee with Oat Milk – soooo yummy!!
Last weekend, my SO surprised me with a weekend trip in NYC for my birthday. I’m always there for work so it was sooo wonderful being there and really enjoying the city. I had gone to Buddakan years ago and I remembered how great the food/ambiance was so I figured it would be the perfect place to celebrate. And it was! We had the most amazing time. Our table was totally intimate, the dishes were delicious and the ambience was incredible. It was really the ultimate dining experience.
Side note, I’ve literally been living in the LAMARQUE Cordelia Coat. I’ve dressed it up in my look above but check out my post Street Elegance in Paris where I am dressing it down! Shop this incredible coat here.
This is one of my all time favorite LAMARQUE jackets – it works so well for those casual days of just jeans and a tee. It’s a vegetable tanned leather and heavily washed which gives it that worn in look. The beauty about it is that I’ve worn it so much that the leather has literally molded to my body. I’m also really loving a lacey bra underneath a tee with a low neckline. And these jeans are my absolute fave – trust me, I have gone through so many black jeans and these are the #1. I’ve literally bought them 3 times. They make you feel so slim – go, give them a try and see the magic!

This LAMARQUE oversize grey duster was the perfect coat to wear during my recent trip to Paris and, to be honest, I have literally been living in it ever since. It gives me such a boost of confidence as I walk – not only is the length totally dramatic but it has these high side slits that makes the fabric whip around as I walk and that feeling is everything. It’s made out of a wool blend double face fabric which makes the coat very light but still keeps the element of warmth. The beauty of double face wool is that the entire coat is finished by hand. The actual fabric is 2 pieces of wool held interlaces together and the garment pieces are all assembled by hand creating a totally luxurious item.
I styled the LAMARQUE Cordelia coat (shop here) with a LAMARQUE Haze silver leather skirt (available next month), a t-shirt I picked up from ultimate parisian boutique Colette (which I am so sad is closing 🙁 ), Adidas Stan Smiths (shop here) and a LAMARQUE leather clutch (available soon).
Patent is one of the major trends this season for FW17 and we will definitely see this trend continuing into the new year. I wear a lot of black and I love the different texture and shine that it adds to my wardrobe. The best part about this skirt is you can dress it up with a pair of heels and chunky sweater for chic & cozy look or you can dress it down by popping on a pair of white kicks and a hoodie with hoops. I’m wearing it here with the coziest chunky LAMARQUE sweater. Recently worn by Alessandra Ambrosio (see here), this skirt has been blowing out!

I always begin a season by visiting Première Vision – it is the most important global fashion tradeshow for the design industry and fashion professionals. All designers visit this tradeshow in search of inspiration, new fabrics, trims & accessories, leather and silhouettes for the new season. I always have an idea beforehand of what I am looking for but by the time the 3 day show is over, my initial idea has evolved into something else. We work 1 year in advance and it’s quite the challenge to design a collection that your customer doesn’t even know they want yet! They’re long days but they are so much fun and inspiring. 🙂
One of the major perks of my work is that it brings me literally everywhere. Twice a year, I get to visit one of my all time favourite cities – Paris. There’s this seriousness and sophistication about this city that I love so much – and the architecture alone makes my heart beat even faster every time. Here I am walking through the Palais Royale, a must-visit when in Paris.
The weather is chilly towards the end of September and the Coppola double face wool coat was just perfect. Due to the slightly oversized fit, I was able to layer under a leather jacket when it did get a bit chillier. Tbh, the weather has been so unpredictable that I wanted to create that perfect transitional piece – it’s all about layering for me this season. Worn here with a ruffled top I picked up at Sandro and a pair of essential Kelly leather leggings. I finished the look with a pair of patent pumps.

I’ve been dying to visit this island & I have to admit that it’s as busy as it is for a reason! The beauty begins as the ferry approaches the port, seeing all the white houses lining the cliff tops spilling down the terraced rocks and arriving to an immense rock wall with a zig zagging street going all the way up the mountain leaving you wondering what lies behind it. You can’t describe the view with words and the photos simply don’t do it justice – it’s definitely must-see in your lifetime! We were staying in the town of Fira and when I first saw the view, it was so gorgeous I literally cried. Our first night, we simply brought dinner back to our hotel and enjoyed it with a bottle of wine while watching the incredible sunset. We did a cruise tour with Caldera Yachting, seeing the famous colored beaches and swimming at the volcanoes. We had dinner on board, met some lovely people & watched the sunset aboard the yacht. We ended our evening at this amazing mixology bar in Fira town called MoMix, they make the most interesting and delicious cocktails! Our last day we scoped out the traditional village of Oia, it is totally charming with it’s gorgeous boutiques, fine restaurants, local artists and excellent wineries.

TOWN OF NAOUSSA – PAROS
PARIKIA – PAROS
STEAMED MUSSELS & BEET SALAD – PARIKIA
KOLYMBITHRES – PAROS
I love taking the slow ferry boat when visiting the Greek islands – it’s so wonderful sitting outside on the deck with a frappe and taking in the beautiful view of the sea, stopping off at different islands and watching people getting off and getting on. The boat ride to Santorini is a little bit too long and the idea of finding an island to stop off for a couple of days to break up the ride sounded like a great plan. And it was – I knew nothing about Paros before visiting and we sure enough were charmed by this discreet little island. Unlike the other surrounding hotspots, Paros gave us a truly authentic experience. It has much less foot traffic however we were amazed to see that it did have that quaint and stylish feel common to the Cycladic islands.
We stayed in port of Parikia, visited a few beaches and discovered the charming town of Naoussa filled with restaurants & shops. Paros initially hadn’t given us exactly the warmest welcome, the first beach we went to was ice cold and we later found out that the beach name was Krios which means cold in Greek! Laying out on the rocks in Kolymbithres was our fave!
